High-strength aluminium profile bars for demanding applications

STEP-G produces high-strength aluminium bars and solid sections for safety-critical applications in the commercial and military aerospace industries. Through a strong network of aerospace partners, we supply extruded and cold-finished bars to leading CNC machine e shops and the forging industry.

After machining, surface treatment and assembly, our materials are used in valves, fittings, heat exchangers, landing gear, structural parts, cockpit components, cargo loading systems, fasteners and more in aircrafts and helicopters of the world’s leading aerospace OEMs.

Indirectly extruded and cold-finished high-strength bars according to multiple specifications.
Ultrasonically tested bars in accordance with all most used USI standards – up to class AA
After extrusion our bars are drawn, stretched, solution heat treated, annealed, naturally or artificially aged. We deliver a variety of different thermo-mechanical conditions such as O, F, H111/H112, T3, T351, T3511, T4, T6, T651, T6511, T73, T7351, T73511, T8, T851, T8511, T9 …
